Army Mountain Warfare School – Jericho, Vermont
Completed in the Fall of 2022, the newest building at the Fort Ethan Allen Firing Range encompasses 82,000 sq.ft, for billets, classrooms and an indoor rock climbing wall. Requiring an in-depth structural design to comply with the Unified Facilities Criteria of the Dept. of Defense, this structure is composed of more than 1,000,000 lbs of structural steel and 2,250 cubic yards of concrete. Wide-flange trusses were designed to span the over 70ft required for the drill hall and climbing wall. Glue-Laminated Timber (GLT) decking was used to cover the exterior walkways.
